Ruidoso’s fist B&B (Bed and Book), no breakfast but
plenty of books. Bookwood Cottage is nestled in the tall pines but
located within walking distance of town. It is Old Ruidoso with
modern comforts and immaculate accommodations. A place where you can
curl up in front of the fireplace with your favorite book or enjoy
the morning light filtering through the trees while sitting on the
front porch with a cup of coffee. Every room contains shelves of
old/new books, coffee table laden with magazines from the 40’s and
50’s and any kind of reading material you can ask for. Other unusual
feature are a headboard over the couch, an antique Chinese screen
hanging on the wall, original art work and many other details. For
those warm days and nights there is a covered outdoor dinning porch. |
